Vincenzo Gualtieri will be boxing on the Scull-Shishkin undercard in Falkensee on October 19. The former world champion wants to get back to the top.

On October 19, the gates of the Stadthalle in Falkensee near Berlin will once again open for a boxing world championship! William Scull and Vladimir Shishkin will face each other in the main fight of the mega boxing evening, which is being organized in cooperation with AGON Sports and Kuc Boxing. For both boxers, it’s all about who will follow in the footsteps of the great Canelo Alvarez and become the new IBF super middleweight world champion!
In addition to the evening’s main event, another AGON boxer who already knows what it feels like to be world champion will be back in the ring: Vincenzo Gualtieri. The former protégé of boxing legend Graciano Rocchigiani won the IBF middleweight world championship belt in July 2023 and was given the chance to unify his title overseas in his very next fight. Gualtieri lost in the USA, but wants to box his way back “onto the podium”. A points victory in April at the AGON-Sportpark in Berlin is said to be just the beginning.
“We are both very well prepared!”
Another eight-round fight will now take place in Falkensee on October 19, where “Il Capo” wants to shine again, as he did in July last year when he became world champion. The opponent of the first world champion produced by the AGON boxing stable will be announced shortly. Gualtieri: “I’m really looking forward to October 19. We are in the penultimate week of sparring. I have done all the preparation together with William and we are both very well prepared. There will be lots of fans and friends from Wuppertal, Hanover and also from Italy. They will support us loudly so that we both leave the ring victorious – and William with the world championship belt.”
Information on other boxers on the undercard and the broadcast will follow in the coming days. Tickets for the mega boxing event featuring the IBF World Championship between William Scull and Vladimir Shishkin are still available at www.eventim.de.
