Victor Faust is back on the attack! After his comeback win in April, the Ukrainian wants to follow up his victory against the powerful Lovejoy in Kiel on Saturday.
Victor Faust is taking the next step on his way back to the top! Next Saturday, the Ukrainian heavyweight of the EC Boxpromotion will box against the American Christopher Lovejoy in Kiel.
The fight is of particular importance for Faust: After a longer break due to injury and a phase of inactivity, his victory in April against the experienced Rydell Booker in Potsdam was already an important comeback signal. The gold medalist at the European Amateur Championships impressed with a clear points decision over eight rounds.
His next competitive outing now follows in Kiel. Promoter Erol Ceylan explains: “It is very important that Victor is back in the ring continuously after his long break and finds his rhythm. We are consciously building him up again step by step. Lovejoy is just a stopover!”
Christopher Lovejoy is an experienced and hard-hitting opponent. Despite his technical deficits, the US American has great punching power. But Victor Faust is highly motivated: “I’m very happy to be back in competition. The win against Booker was important for my head and my rhythm. Now I want to take the next step in Kiel.”
