After a two-year break, Vincent Feigenbutz will make his comeback in the ring on April 26. Just under a week later, he will also be fighting on “Boxen im Norden”.

Vincent Feigenbutz is back: after a break of almost two years, the Karlsruhe native is returning to the ring – twice! On April 26, he will be boxing in the Rintheimer Sporthalle in Karlsruhe, followed by another appearance on May 1 at a “Boxen im Norden” gala in the legendary “Große Freiheit 36” in Hamburg.
The return of the “Knockout King” is eagerly awaited. The opponents for the two planned build-up fights have not yet been determined, but the boxing world is taking notice: With 36 victories (32 by knockout) and only three defeats, Feigenbutz is still one of the most successful German boxers.
Early steep ascent
Feigenbutz’s career to date has been characterized by highlights and tough tests in equal measure. He made his professional debut at the age of just 16 and quickly became known as a knockout specialist. In 2015, he won the WBA interim super middleweight world title. Shortly afterwards, he was elevated to regular world champion.
After losing the rematch against Giovanni De Carolis in 2016, Feigenbutz fought his way back, culminating in a world title fight against Caleb Plant in 2020. Even though this was lost, Feigenbutz showed heart and punching power. A later points victory over Jama Saidi and a move to middleweight followed – but then things went quiet. Now the 29-year-old is back and wants to make a fresh start. It remains to be seen whether his return to the big stage will be successful – the first steps have already been taken.
