Table situation remains exciting
With this success, the North Germans were able to extend their lead over Chemnitz, but it was not enough to take the top spot in the table. BC Marburg remain in front due to a better points ratio – although both teams are now level on points. The next big challenge for the Chemnitz Wolves has already been decided: On March 1, they will travel to Marburg, where they want to make up for their defeat in the first round. The Saxons lost 9:12 on January 25 and now have the chance to take revenge.
