Felix Sturm returns to the ring on February 15, 2025 at a boxing gala in Neu-Ulm – organized in cooperation with AGON and Sturm Boxing.
The boxing year 2025 starts with a loud bang! On February 15, Felix Sturm, one of Germany’s most successful and charismatic boxers, is set to make his comeback. After an impressive career and unforgettable fights, the living legend will once again step into the ring – this time in the ratiopharm Arena in Neu-Ulm in front of a gigantic backdrop. Sturm Boxing is cooperating with Berlin promoter Ingo Volckmann and his AGON Sports.
The 6,500-capacity ratiopharm Arena in Neu-Ulm is set to become the epicenter of boxing on February 15. After an impressive career with many top-class fights, unforgettable moments, international titles and winning the world championship five times, the Leverkusen native is back. Even at the age of 45, his iron will, passion for the sport and the goal of writing another chapter in his legendary career remain unbroken. The upcoming fight not only marks a comeback – it is an announcement: the storm is gathering again.
“Offering the fans a spectacle”
“I’m ready to continue writing my story and I’m looking forward to getting back into the ring to give my fans another spectacle,” said the German ring legend. “The negotiations for my opponent are in the final phase and we will be able to announce him soon. I can already reveal this much: it will be a boxer from Germany!”
AGON Sports promoter Ingo Volckmann says: “Felix Sturm is still a fan magnet, as his last fights and the full arenas have proven. We made a conscious decision to enter into this cooperation. In addition to Felix, several other boxers from Sturm Boxing and of course AGON Sports will also be fighting in Neu-Ulm. We will announce which ones in the coming weeks.”
