Title chances for Shadalov & Wall: AGON shows in a new documentary why the whole of Berlin is watching its local heroes in their home game.
AGON Sports has released a new short documentary highlighting the careers of two of Berlin’s most promising boxing talents: Hamsat Shadalov and Paul Wall. The seven-minute video on the official AGON Sports YouTube channel shows the sporting beginnings of the two exceptional athletes, their first successes in the amateur arena and the decisive step into the professional ranks. A special highlight of the documentary: Their long-time amateur trainer Dirk Käsebier recalls the early days of Shadalov and Wall and describes what made the two boxers stand out as youngsters.
The next big milestone for both fighters is now imminent: Hamsat Shadalov (11-0, 3 knockouts) will contest his first professional main event on Friday, September 12, at the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin. The duel with unbeaten Spaniard Alex de la Rosa (10-0, 4 knockouts) will be for an international WBA super featherweight title. Paul Wall (9-0, 6 knockouts) will fight for his first professional title, the German championship (BDB), against Hamburg’s Antonio Fechner (7-2, 2 knockouts) on the same evening.
With the release of the short documentary, AGON Sports wants to give the two exceptional talents an additional stage – and invite the media and fans to get to know the stories behind the fighters.
