Two unbeaten youngsters in a direct duel: Julian Vogel defends his WBO Youth title against Sami Ahmeti in Aschersleben!
German boxing celebrates a real highlight on September 27, 2025! The SES Boxing Gala in Aschersleben will bring two explosive top duels to the stage – with Julian Vogel and Nenad Stancic in the spotlight.
The main fight of the evening will be a prestigious clash of junior world champions: local hero Julian Vogel (17-0-1) will defend his WBO Youth super welterweight title against the also unbeaten WBC Youth champion Sami Ahmeti (9-0-0) from Bavaria. Ahmeti will move down a weight class to take the title in Vogel’s home town. A real 50/50 duel at top German level.
No less exciting: Lightweight hopeful Nenad Stancic (16-0-0) meets the highly dangerous Yohan Morocoima (18-1-0, 17 KOs) from Venezuela. A classic technician vs. puncher duel: While Stancic shines as a former WBO and WBC Junior World Champion, Morocoima has an impressive KO rate – 17 early wins from 18 fights speak for themselves. Trainer Mark Haupt praises Stancic’s progress in training: “He has become more creative in his boxing.” And SES promoter Ulf Steinforth also raves: “The high-class technician against the puncher – that’s boxing at its best!”
The MDR will broadcast live from 22:30. Boxing fans can look forward to a thrilling evening. Other SES and “Team Germany” talents such as Paul Schmidt, Armend Xhoxhaj, Michel Dobler and debutant Christoph Fricke round off the fight card.
