After marketing giant Wasserman withdrew from boxing, Kalle and Nisse Sauerland are now running their company on their own again under the name “MF Sports”.

A few years ago, Kalle and Nisse Sauerland took over the boxing stable “Sauerland Event” from their father Wilfried. In 2021, the brothers finally sold the company to the US marketing giant Wasserman Media Group. Kalle and Nisse held management positions in the boxing department.
Repurchase of Wasserman
But now Sauerland is independent again thanks to a buyback: Wasserman gave up the boxing division, as reported by “Bild.de”. Together with a strategic partner, all of Wasserman’s boxers – including heavyweight Derek Chisora, Michael Conlan and IBF world champion Josh Kelly – are said to have been signed. The Sauerland promotion now operates under the name “MF Sports” and is based in London.
“We are pleased to announce the launch of MF Sports,” wrote Kalle and Nisse on their Instagram account (“sauerlandbros”). “Together with a strategic European investor, we have taken the Wasserman boxing stable into our hands and renamed it MF Sports.” MF Sports also includes “MF Pro” – where Sauerland’s traditional boxing business is based – as well as the crossover boxing promotion “Misfits Boxing” on a pro rata basis. Both have long-term partnerships with the streaming service DAZN. MF Sports also has plans to add two new sports to its portfolio in 2026, the Sauerland brothers announced.
Next highlight: Chisora vs. Wilder
Kalle and Nisse have been organizing events mainly in England for some time now. Boxers as well as influencers and YouTuber stars appear at their well-attended events. Sauerland’s partners include the boxing YouTuber KSI, for example. “We would also like to organize events in Germany again soon, preferably this year,” Kalle Sauerland told Bild. Next, heavyweight Derek Chisora will step into the ring for Sauerland at the O2 Arena on April 4. There, the veteran will face former knockout king Deontay Wilder from the USA.
