Keyshawn Davis controls Albright over the distance and cruises to a dominant points win on Top Rank’s first DAZN show, while Brian Norman Jr. stops Josh Wagner early.

Top Rank hosted its first boxing gala with new broadcast partner DAZN last night in Norfolk, Virginia. In the main bout of the evening, super lightweight Keyshawn Davis celebrated a clear points victory, while welterweight Brian Norman Jr. was also dominant.
Davis (15-0, 10 knockouts) prevailed by unanimous decision on points over Nahir Albright (17-3-1, 7 knockouts) at Scope Arena. The judges scored the fight 117-109, 118-108 and 118-108 in favor of the undefeated Top Rank talent. “I felt great,” said Davis in an interview after the fight. “I felt good. He’s a smart fighter with experience. I tried to get the knockout. We all saw that he was battered. I just didn’t manage it. But I got the decision and that’s all that matters. He kept hanging on my neck and I got angry and knocked him down. I felt like I was beating him up every round. I only really switched up after he caught me with a good hit. Then I thought to myself: ‘Now I’m going to beat you up even more. That’s all you’re going to get away with’.”
In the co-main event, Brian Norman Jr. (29-1, 23 knockouts) secured a second-round TKO victory over Canadian challenger Josh Wagner (19-3, 10 knockouts). “I came out and wanted to rip his head right off,” Norman Jr. told DAZN. “I was hitting hard haymakers. But then I decided to stay calmer, work with the jab and stick to my fundamentals. In the end, I got the job done. “The body shots were part of my plan from the start. I saw that he wasn’t particularly strong to the body. I learned a lot under Ronnie Shields, became calmer and more controlled. And this ring is my home now. We’ll see what comes next. No matter who I’m up against – I’ll deliver.”
