Cheyenne Hanson gets the chance of a lifetime. The Augsburg native challenges boxing legend Amanda Serrano in El Paso – at an event organized by Jake Paul.

Cheyenne Hanson is set for the biggest fight of her career on May 30. The Augsburg native will face featherweight world champion Amanda Serrano in El Paso, Texas, and fight for the WBA and WBO world championship belts. For “Pepper”, it is the leap onto the really big stage of women’s boxing. Serrano has been one of the defining names in the sport for years. The Puerto Rican is champion in several weight classes, is considered one of the best female boxers in the world and is currently chasing Christy Martin’s historic knockout record. With 31 knockouts, she is just one premature victory away from the record.
Hanson has plenty of punching power herself. The 28-year-old has won 17 of her 19 professional fights, 13 of them early, and is highly ranked by both the WBO and the WBA. She only signed with Most Valuable Promotions, the boxing stable of Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, in April. The fight against Serrano is one of the main fights of the evening. For Hanson, it’s not just about titles, but also about representing Germany on one of the biggest platforms in women’s boxing.
