At the “Showdown For Legacy IV” fight night in Ludwigsburg, Adrian Krasniqi won the main event by unanimous decision against Vinko Zadro. With this clear points victory, Krasniqi defended his WBO Intercontinental light heavyweight title and also secured the vacant WBA Continental title.

Krasniqi (13-0, 12 KOs) won a very clear unanimous decision after sending Zadro (12-1, 12 KOs) to the canvas twice in the tenth and final round. All three judges scored the fight identically at 100-88.

Following this success, Krasniqi is likely to move into the top 15 of both the WBA and the WBO rankings soon. Dmitry Bivol currently holds the world title in both organizations. As of this writing, Krasniqi is ranked seventh in the WBO rankings.

On the star-studded undercard, middleweight Bujar Tahiri (23-0, 11 KOs) weathered a knockdown in the second round against Alexander Castro (15-2, 12 KOs) and still secured a unanimous decision victory after eight rounds.

Michael Rigas (12-1, 9 KOs) also caused a surprise when he suffered the first loss of his professional career against Rotislav Zich (11-1-2, 5 KOs). The judges’ scores were 79-73, 79-74, and 78-74, and seemed generally reasonable.

In the light heavyweight division, Amarildo Bakaj (15-0, 15 KOs) made a successful return to the ring after a one-year hiatus. He maintained his perfect K.O. record by stopping Aleksandar Ivanovic (9-3, 7 K.O.s) in the second round.
