The eagerly awaited rematch is confirmed! The rematch between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn will take place in London on September 20, 2025 – a fight that is already being touted as one of the biggest British boxing events of the year. Eubank Jr. clearly won the first duel between the two rivals on points in April – a Fight of the Year candidate that brought back memories of the legendary fights between their fathers Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn.

Sela, Matchroom and Boxxer are once again promoting the second edition of the generational duel. While Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is actually firmly planned as a possible venue, Wembley is now also up for discussion. Saudi Arabian Entertainment Minister Turki Al-Sheikh is likely to have the final say on this.

The general conditions remain unchanged: Boxing will again take place at middleweight (160 lbs), again with a rehydration clause that suits Conor Benn. Eubank Jr. had to accept a severe penalty in the first fight because he exceeded the weight minimally. His father Chris Eubank Sr. recently voiced criticism of extreme weight cutting and warned of health risks. Despite all the controversy – including Benn’s previous doping ban – the rematch is now a reality. Both boxers have signed a two-fight deal, fan interest is huge and the rivalry is as personal as ever. Whether it will be another hot fight or whether Conor Benn will get his revenge this time will be revealed on September 20 – in front of a large crowd and with maximum excitement.
