Simon Zachenhuber gives Leonardo Di Stefano no chance in Ulm. The P2M super middleweight ends the fight in round one.

Ulm – Simon Zachenhuber (27-0, 16 knockouts) continues his unstoppable march through the super-middleweight division. At the boxing evening in the Einstein Hall of the Maritim Hotel in Ulm, organized by Timo Schwarzkopf, the unbeaten German set a clear exclamation mark: A knockout victory in the first round against the German-Spanish Leonardo Di Stefano (16-5, 13 knockouts).
Zachenhuber made short work of it: he staggered Di Stefano with a grazing left hook to the head. Although the latter got back to his feet, the referee had seen enough and stopped the fight before things could get dicey. It was Zachenhuber’s third premature victory in a row – a statement to the competition in the super middleweight division.
There was a controversial verdict in the co-main event: Fredi Knorpp (7-0-1, 3 knockouts) and Kushtrim Tahirukaj (7-0-1, 2 knockouts) drew in the fight for the BDB German lightweight title. Although one judge clearly scored the fight 100-90 in favor of Tahirukaj, the other two saw a fair 95-95, which led to a majority draw – much to the annoyance of Tahirukaj and his team, who felt they had been robbed of a deserved victory.
The supporting program also had a lot to offer: The WBO world number six in the cruiserweight division, Tahir Kahrovic (23-0, 15 knockouts), celebrated another success. After five dominant rounds, Colombian Edwin Riascos (15-9, 13 knockouts) retired injured. In the super middleweight division, Willi Knorpp (7-0, 5 knockouts) also impressed, defeating the experienced Mexican Jesus Pina Najera unanimously on points despite brief difficulties in round three.
