World Championship ticket within reach! AGONaut Etinosa Oliha will box Ammo Williams on July 19 in Texas – the winner will become the IBF mandatory challenger!

AGON middleweight Etinosa Oliha (21-0, 9 KOs) is facing the biggest fight of his career so far on July 19 in Frisco, Texas (USA)! In the final eliminator of the IBF he will face the US-American Austin “Ammo” Williams (18-1, 10 KOs). The winner of this duel will become the official mandatory challenger and will receive a direct world championship fight for the IBF middleweight title.
The fight will take place as part of the World Championship Unification fight between Jesse Rodriguez and Phumelele Cafu and will be broadcast live worldwide on DAZN. For Oliha, who has worked his way to the top of the IBF world rankings with five victories in Germany, it will be his first time on US soil and a milestone in his young career.
“Austin Williams is the last step before the World Championships! I’m highly motivated and convinced that I’ll make the most of this great opportunity,” said the unbeaten 26-year-old Italian, who has been part of the AGON team led by promoter Ingo Volckmann since 2023. For AGON Sports and Volckmann, this fight is further proof of the team’s successful work. After Jack Culcay, Vincenzo Gualtieri and William Scull, the next AGON athlete is on the verge of a world championship fight.
Ingo Volckmann: “We are very proud of Etinosa and the development of our entire team. Our goal is to position German boxing more strongly internationally again and to give our boxers real world championship opportunities. The fact that we are now once again bringing a boxer into a final eliminator shows that we are on the right track.”
With consistent development work, international cooperation and a strong sporting concept, AGON regularly manages to get top fighters into world championship positions. Etinosa Oliha could now become the next AGON boxer to fight for the world championships of one of the four major world federations. In July 2023, he already secured the world championship belt of the smaller IBO.
