Dave Allen defeats Johnny Fisher by knockout in round 5 – Clear victory in London heavyweight rematch.
In a thrilling British heavyweight rematch last night at the Copperbox Arena in London, presented by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom, Dave Allen (24-7-2, 19 knockouts) impressively outpointed the highly touted Johnny Fisher (13-1, 11 knockouts).
Allen dominated the duel and sent Fisher to the floor twice in the fifth round. After the second knockdown, it was clear to Fisher’s corner that the towel had to be thrown in.
