Our knockout of the week today comes from heavyweight David Allen, who brutally floored Johnny Fisher in round five last Saturday.
Are we even talking about the knockout of the week here? Or even of the month? On Saturday, May 17, the two British heavyweights David Allen and Johnny Fisher had a rematch in London – Fisher had won the first duel in December 2024. After the 26-year-old had actually controlled the second fight, Allen, who is seven years older, turned up the heat in the fifth round and sent “The Romford Bull” to the floor twice. The second, absolutely brutal knockdown came just before the bell. However, as Fisher’s corner had already thrown in the towel, there was no discussion as to exactly when the knockdown occurred.
