Undefeated super middleweight and reigning IBF World Champion William Scull (23-0, 9 KOs) faces the biggest challenge of his career on Saturday night, May 4 (German time): At the ANB Arena, he meets the biggest name in boxing, reigning WBA, WBC and WBO world champion and Ring Magazine champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs). For Scull, who hails from Cuba and competes for Berlin promoter Ingo Volckmann, this is the opportunity of a lifetime. “I’m proud to be here and ready to make history,” Scull explained. “It’s an honor to fight on this big stage against one of the best boxers in the world.”
Today’s Grand Arrival marks the start of an eventful fight week in which William Scull will not only be putting the finishing touches to his training for his biggest fight to date.
