Fury vs. Joshua – “Battle of Britain” draws closer

After his defeat against Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury is faced with the question: retirement or a million-dollar fight against Anthony Joshua?

“I want the easiest fights for the biggest money and not the hardest fights for the smallest money,” said the 36-year-old Fury recently.

Tyson Fury is once again in the spotlight. After his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in December, the boxing world is divided. Are Fury’s glory days returning, or is he just experiencing a final act? The “Gypsy King” has not yet made a clear decision. But a possible mega-fight against Anthony Joshua could motivate him once again. Both are up for 100 million dollars – a record for British boxing.

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are considered legends of British boxing. But their current form leaves experts in doubt. Fury, once invincible, recently showed weaknesses against Oleksandr Usyk. Joshua recently lost to Daniel Dubois and revealed major deficits. Critics describe the fight as a show instead of a sporting highlight. “This would have been a classic seven years ago,” say many fans.

Two old masters in the ring

Anthony Joshua has proven in the past that he can be dangerous. His knockout performance against Francis Ngannou showed his punching power. But his defeat to Dubois was a setback. “AJ can knock Fury out with one punch,” say experts. But Joshua’s dwindling punch resistance remains a risk.

Tyson Fury is known for his tactical skills. However, he will have to be more aggressive against Joshua than he has been recently. His fights against Usyk showed weaknesses in his defense. If Joshua applies pressure from the start, his compatriot could be in trouble. “He will have to bring all his skills to bear,” predict analysts.
