Berlin celebrates its boxing heroes! On September 12, AGON Sports will transform the capital into an arena of emotions: Two Berlin fan favorites will step into the ring in their home city in title fights and aim to provide an unforgettable evening of boxing. In the Uber Eats Music Hall, AGON Sports and promoter Ingo Volckmann present boxing in a class of its own!
Hamsat Shadalov (11-0, 3 knockouts) will be the focus of the evening: The Berlin native is contesting his first main event fight as a professional and is fighting for the WBA Continental super featherweight title. His opponent, the undefeated Spaniard Alex de la Rosa (10-0, 4 knockouts), has everything he needs to give Shadalov the toughest test of his career to date. For the local hero, it is a great opportunity to establish himself even better as an international title holder – and in front of his own fans!
It will be no less emotional when former world champion Vincenzo Gualtieri steps into the ring in Berlin. The Wuppertal native, who once began his professional career with Berlin boxing legend Graciano Rocchigiani as his trainer, wants to defend his WBO European middleweight title. Opposite him is the dangerous Swiss Ramadan Hiseni, who wants to spring a surprise.
With Paul Wall, Shadalov’s closest friend since childhood, the Berlin title trio is complete. The super welterweight is contesting his first championship fight as a professional boxer and will fight in a German duel against Antonio Fechner from Hamburg for the German championship of the BDB (Bund Deutscher Berufsboxer). Together with Shadalov, he wants to turn the evening into a celebration for the capital, as both will bring a large number of fans to the arena.
