Historic boxing evening in Flensburg: Freddy Kiwitt fights for the unification of the WBO and WBF titles on November 22.

The official press conference for the boxing event “Flensburg boxt 2.0” took place at Sasa Flensburg on Wednesday. In addition to numerous media representatives, the main protagonists of the evening were also present – WBF World Champion Freddy Kiwitt, organizer Sebastian Claussen and the boxers Ekin Erol, Menal Topcu, Darian Yasar and Hariz Dzindo. The event was hosted by the voice of German boxing, Ingo Rohrbach. In a professional but respectful atmosphere, the participants made it clear that the event on November 22, 2025 in the GP Joule Arena should not only be a sporting highlight, but also send a strong signal for the North.
In the main fight of the evening, local hero Freddy Kiwitt will face the dangerous Nigerian Suleiman Jafaru (17-1). Two titles are at stake – the WBF World Championship and the WBO Global Belt. This will be the first historic title unification in Flensburg. Freddy Kiwitt: “I’m not just fighting for the title, but for Flensburg. We want to show that great sport is also at home here in the north.” Sebastian Claussen (Claussen Events): “We are making history with ‘Flensburg boxt 2.0’. For the first time, the WBO and WBF titles will be united in our city. We are bringing world-class boxing to Flensburg – with heart, passion and responsibility for the region.”
