Noel Mikaelian gets his rematch: The Hamburg cruiserweight will meet Badou Jack again on December 13, 2025 in Los Angeles. The rematch will be the main fight of the “CMH 2: Rematch Season” event at the Ace Mission Studio in Los Angeles.

In May, Jack won the WBC world title on points – a verdict that many observers and Mikaelian himself considered controversial. According to CompuBox statistics, the German landed more punches, yet two judges decided (115:113) in favor of the 43-year-old Swede. “I beat him back then with three weeks to prepare. Now I’m coming back fully focused to get what’s mine,” said Mikaelian.

The 35-year-old is training for the rematch under the direction of Pedro Diaz in Miami. He had already appealed to the WBC after the first duel, which ultimately ordered the immediate rematch. Jack, former world super-middleweight champion, is also confident of victory: “This time there will be no questions when I beat him again.” For Mikaelian, who originally won the title in 2023 with a knockout victory over Junior Makabu, it’s about more than just a belt – it’s about sporting justice. With a win in Los Angeles, he wants to prove that he is the rightful WBC cruiserweight champion.
