After his T.K.O. victory over Granit Shala and winning the IBF International title, heavyweight Peter Milas wants to go international.

A successful evening for Fides Sports Promotion: Petar Milas impressively won his heavyweight title fight. In the co-main event of the big boxing evening in Oberhausen, Milas defeated Granit Shala by T.K.O. in the tenth and last scheduled round. Prior to this, the Croatian sent his opponent to the floor twice and then left no doubt about his superiority.
After the fight, the winner and new IBF International title holder was suitably satisfied: “I’m very happy about the knockout victory and that I was able to show what I’m made of. I think it was a really good fight for the spectators. My aim was to stop my opponent early on – that didn’t quite work out in the first few rounds. That made the end all the better, and it was definitely a strong performance for the fans.”
“A strong performance”
Fides Sports promoter Burim Sylejmani also saw his assessment confirmed: “I said we would provide the answers in the ring. Petar Milas has proven that he is a super heavyweight and one of the best. It was a strong performance on this big boxing night in Germany, the homecoming of Agit Kabayel. We are proud of this performance and to have kept our word – crowned by an impressive knockout.”
Sylejmani also took the opportunity to pay tribute to the sporting setting of the event: “Many thanks to Queensberry and the Agit Kabayel team for the warm welcome we received in the dressing room after the main event. Over the next few days and weeks, we will see what happens next for Petar and discuss the way forward with a view to the international stage.”
With his convincing knockout victory, Petar Milas has made a clear statement in the heavyweight division and recommended himself for further major tasks at international level.
