Zuffa Boxing is continuing its expansion and has gained an important media partner in Sky Sports. The new agreement covers a multi-year collaboration that will see all of the promotion ‘s events broadcast in the UK and Ireland. It will kick off with an event in Las Vegas at the beginning of April. Zuffa Boxing also plans to host regular events in the UK. At least five shows per year are planned on the island, with the first event already scheduled for early summer.

UFC boss Dana White is pursuing a clear strategy. The aim is to have the best boxers compete against each other and thus bring a breath of fresh air into the sport. At the same time, the product is to be targeted at a younger audience. At the same time, Zuffa Boxing is continuing to expand its squad. In addition to the names already signed, both established top fighters and promising talents are to be signed. The focus is on the major boxing markets such as the USA, Great Britain, Australia and Mexico.

For Sky Sports, the partnership means a continuation of its long boxing tradition. The broadcaster wants to use the new platform to present both established stars and new faces internationally. With this deal, Zuffa Boxing is sending out another signal: The new promotion wants to quickly establish itself as a permanent fixture in the global boxing business.
