In a spectacular night of boxing in London, Aaron McKenna, Anthony Yarde, Viddal Riley and Chris Billam-Smith all prevailed and celebrated impressive victories.

In the co-main event of the Eubank-Benn fight card, British light heavyweight Anthony Yarde (27-3, 24 knockouts) secured a unanimous points victory over Lyndon Arthur (24-3, 16 knockouts). And thus crowned himself WBA Intercontinental Champion. In a close duel, the judges scored the fight 115-113 and twice 116-112 for Yarde. The performance of Irish middleweight Aaron McKenna (20-0, 10 knockouts) was particularly impressive. The unbeaten youngster delivered the best performance of his career, defeating former world champion Liam Smith (33-5-1, 20 knockouts) on points. The judges’ scorecards read 119-108, 118-108 and 117-109.
In the fight for the British cruiserweight title, Viddal Riley (13-0, 7 knockouts) prevailed against his rival from North London, Cheavon Clarke. After twelve intense rounds, the judges unanimously awarded Riley the victory (115-113, 116-112, 117-111). Former world champion Chris Billam-Smith (21-2, 13 knockouts) also made a successful comeback. In a non-title twelve-rounder, he dominated US-American Brandon Glanton (20-3, 17 knockouts) and also secured a unanimous points victory (116-113, 116-112, 116-112).
Chris Eubank also caused a stir when he made a surprise appearance in the arena together with his son Chris Eubank Jr. In the run-up to the fight, Eubank Senior had repeatedly expressed his concerns about the main event.
