Boxing year 2025 starts with a bang! Felix Sturm, one of Germany’s most successful boxers, returns on February 15.
Felix Sturm returns to the ring on February 15. At 46, the five-time world champion is not thinking about retiring. His goal: to deliver great fights to the fans again and prove his class. His opponent for the comeback in the ratiopharm Arena in Neu-Ulm is Benjamin Blindert. The 38-year-old, known as “The Jet”, has only suffered one defeat in 17 fights.
At the first Media Day, Blindert was respectful: “For Felix, the fight is routine, for me it’s a big step. This motivation will help me to give my best.” The Leverkusen native appreciates the challenge: “Blindert is a calm but dangerous boxer. He will look for his chance and put all his eggs in one basket. I’m prepared for anything.”
Former world champion Vincenzo Gualtieri will step into the ring alongside Sturm. AGON team colleague Bujar Tahiri also wants to impress in the super middleweight division.
