TheSpanish top contender and Olympic participant Samuel Carmona is joining the AGON Sportsinternational squad with immediate effect.
AGON Sports is continuing its international expansion and has secured the services of another top-class boxer. Spanish flyweight top fighter Samuel Carmona (13-1-0) has signed a contract with the Berlin-based promoter.
The 29-year-old is one of the most technically skilled boxers in Europe and has an impressive CV. Carmona took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, won bronze at the European Championships and has already fought for the WBC World Championship. The “EBU Silver” champion is currently ranked in the WBA’s top 10 and is considered a serious contender for a title fight in the near future.
Only narrowly defeated in the World Cup duel
With over 240 amateur fights under his belt, the Spaniard has enormous experience and excellent ring intelligence, which makes him a dangerous opponent among the world’s best. Julio Cesar Martinez already felt this in 2022 when he narrowly beat the Spaniard in a WBC World Championship fight in front of his home crowd.

With the signing of Carmona, AGON Sports is once again underlining its commitment to developing internationally competitive boxers and guiding them towards the world’s best.
