The boxing year 2025 starts with a loud bang! On February 15, Felix Sturm, one of Germany’s most successful and charismatic boxers, wants to make his comeback. Storm comeback will be a test
Another title fight can now be presented to the fans! Felix Sturm, one of the most successful German boxers of all time, will now fight for the “WBA Gold” light heavyweight title against his 36-year-old opponent Benjamin Blindert in the main fight of the evening. With a record of 17 fights, including 14 wins, 10 by knockout, Blindert has the potential on paper to make Sturm’s comeback a real test. “The Jet”, as Blindert calls himself, sees the fight as the biggest opportunity of his career and has already promised to give it his all.
Felix Sturm, on the other hand, who returns to the ring at the age of 46 with unbroken ambition and iron discipline, is determined to make history: “Benjamin is a strong opponent and knows what is at stake. I will be ready for any surprise and show my fans once again that I am still capable of making big fights. The fact that we are now fighting for a major title from one of the four major world federations spurs me on even more to get the best out of myself!” Sturm, who has already won five world titles in his impressive career, wants to write another chapter in his unique career with this fight.
