The SES Boxing Gala on May 30 at the Magdeburg Exhibition Center is set to become even more explosive. The focus is on the rematch between Roman Fress and Armend Xhoxhaj. For the first time, the WBO “International”, “Inter-Continental” and “Europe” cruiserweight titles will be at stake at the same time. The stakes are therefore extremely high for Fress. The current WBO Inter-Continental champion is number one in the rankings and wants to position himself as the mandatory challenger for the new WBO world champion David Benavidez with a victory. Xhoxhaj, on the other hand, brings a lot of experience and pressure to the duel as WBO European champion.

In addition to the main fight, SES offers an extensive fight card. Among others, Michel Dobler, Max Suske, Paul Schmidt and Ole Rätzel from “Team Germany” will step into the ring. Denis Radovan will also be returning, as he looks to reconnect with the world’s best. The fight week in Magdeburg is already fully planned. A press conference, public training and official weigh-in will get the fans in the mood for the big WBO evening.

The SES Boxing Gala will be broadcast live on MDR. “SPORT im Osten – Boxen live” starts at 10.30 pm. The fight night will also be available in the ARD media library and as a live stream via sportschau.de.
