After his tough world championship fight in April and careful consideration, AGON boxer Jack Culcay has decided to take a break from active competition.

AGON professional boxer Jack Culcay (33-5, 14 knockouts) has decided to take a temporary break from active boxing. After intensive years in the ring, during which Culcay has contested numerous title fights and established himself as one of Germany’s outstanding boxers in the half-middleweight division, he now wants to take some time out. He wants to use this time to recover, recharge his batteries and devote himself to his family.
“After careful consideration, I have decided to take a break from competition. I will use the time to fully regenerate and carefully plan my next steps,” says Culcay. AGON boss Ingo Volckmann commented: “Jack fought an incredible battle recently and fought like a lion. He needs his time now, I understand that. As in the past, he will enrich our boxing stable as a trainer and train our boxers at the AGON Gym in Berlin until he is ready to prepare himself again.”
