8,000,000 US dollars – that’s how much Claressa Shields will receive for her contract extension with Salita Promotions.

The deal between Claressa Shields and Salita Promotions for 8 million dollars includes four fights over two years and makes the “GWOAT” the highest earning female boxer on the planet. The two-time Olympic champion and multiple undisputed champion is set to receive a bonus of 3 million dollars for her signature alone.
According to Shields herself, she had also negotiated with promoters such as Most Valuable Promotions (Jake Paul) and Matchroom Boxing (Eddie Hearn), but ultimately opted for Salita, where she has been under contract since 2017. The label Wynn Records, where her boyfriend, New York rapper Shamele “Papoose” Mackie, works as creative director, is also involved in the new mega deal as a co-promoter.
