Congenial duo with Ulli Wegner

In 2003, Abraham turned professional in Wilfried Sauerland’s stable. Together with head coach Ulli Wegner, the popular boxing pro formed a successful duo that became a cult and thrilled millions of viewers on television. On December 10, 2005, “King Arthur” won the IBF middleweight world title. A year later, Abraham finally became a ring hero when he defended his world championship belt against Edison Miranda with a double broken jaw.
