P2M heavyweight Peter Kadiru will be boxing for the IBF Intercontinental title at the big gala “Hamburg boxt! Vol. 4” on September 21 for the IBF Intercontinental title. It will be the Hamburg local hero’s first title defense.

Kadiru’s opponent in this exciting title fight is the unbeaten Djuar El Scheich from Berlin. The man from the German capital is only one place behind Kadiru in fourth place in the independent German rankings. A fight at the absolute German top level is to be expected. The 32-year-old won 22 of 23 fights and drew once. Peter Kadiru’s professional record stands at 18 wins and one defeat. The 27-year-old from Hamburg could enter the top 50 of the independent world rankings with a win.
At 1.94 meters, the local hero is nine centimeters taller than El Scheich. The former Junior Olympic champion also has the advantage in terms of reach. El Sheikh’s great strength is his punching power; the power puncher has celebrated 21 of his 22 victories via knockout, so the man with Syrian roots should by no means be underestimated.
Kadiru’s preparation was extremely professional in England as a sparring partner of former world champion Anthony Joshua. Kadiru gained valuable experience here and now wants to present himself in top form in front of his home crowd.
Alongside Kadiru, Nina “The Brave” Meinke will also be in the ring at the Hamburg sports hall on September 21. The Berlin native will fight for the prestigious IBF featherweight world championship. It will be the first 12 x three-minute women’s fight on European soil. Two other German boxing greats, Viktor Jurk and Dilar Kisikyol, will also do the honors.
