“From my point of view, Usyk is not interested in a fight against Agit Kabayel. He has fought everyone at all times and can look back on a terrific career. But when the WBO ordered the fight against Wardley, he dropped the belt. I don’t think Usyk is interested in a tough fight for a smaller purse. He’s already had the big paydays in Saudi Arabia. His legacy is already complete anyway.”

Lawrence Okolie has said in an interview with Sky that he does not believe in a fight between German heavyweight star Agit Kabayel and triple-champ Oleksandr Usyk. According to the Brit, Usyk will relinquish his WBC belt and the fight will be between him and the “Leberking”. Usyk has already taken the big paydays from the Saudis and cannot achieve more in sporting terms than he already has. He is therefore not interested in a tough fight for little money.
