On November 22, 2025, SES Boxing returns to the Kraftverkehr Chemnitz. The focus of the gala will be an eagerly awaited European semi-heavyweight duel: Artur Reis (GER), current IBF European champion, will face Polish WBO European title holder Mateusz Tryc (POL).

For Reis, the fight also means a promotion to light heavyweight – and the chance of a kind of revenge. “I am a warrior. The WBO belt has to go back to Germany,” announced the 32-year-old confidently. Tryc, who secured the title in May with a TKO victory against Nick Hannig, promises: “We’re prepared for anything – plan A, B or C.”

SES promoter Ulf Steinforth is delighted about the return to Chemnitz: “The city is crazy about boxing, the audience is great. This title fight is another highlight for us.” MDR will broadcast the event live on “Sport im Osten – Boxen live”.

The supporting program is also top-class:

  • Armend Xhoxhaj wants to take the next step towards a title fight in the cruiserweight division.
  • Michel Dobler, the heavyweight talent from “Team Germany”, is aiming for his fourth professional victory.
  • Ingolf Zocher meets Lucas Schmitt in the heavyweight division.

With a strong main fight, familiar faces and regional cooperation with the BC “Wölfe” Chemnitz, the SES Gala once again promises to be a real boxing festival in Saxony.
