A tough opponent awaits in Ingolstadt: Granit Stein fights Mexican Diego Carmona for the WBA Continental title.

The anticipation for “The Show Must Go On VI” on May 16 in Ingolstadt is growing for everyone involved. The opponent for the main fight of “The Show Must Go On VI” is now official. Granit Stein will meet Mexican Diego Carmona at the Maritim Hotel Ingolstadt on May 16. At stake is the vacant WBA Continental super middleweight title.
In Carmona (14 wins, 3 defeats), Stein will face an internationally experienced opponent who is known for his robust and unpleasant fighting style. The Mexican brings the typical mentality of his country into the ring and is likely to do everything in his power to keep the title fight open. For Stein, the fight points the way forward: with a win, the ambitious professional would work his way into the top 15 of the world rankings and position himself for bigger challenges.
The main fight is the highlight of what is already considered to be an exceptionally strong fight card. The event is being organized by Fides Sports Promotion, who with “The Show Must Go On VI” have put together one of the currently highest quality boxing events in Germany. The demand underlines this impressively: the event is already completely sold out.
New opponent for Petar Milas
There has also been a last-minute change in the co-main event: a new opponent has been confirmed for Petar Milas. After his originally planned opponent withdrew due to injury, the Croatian heavyweight will now face the experienced Belgian Joel Tambwe Djeko.
With a record of 19 wins, four defeats and one draw, Djeko not only has extensive professional experience, but has also already proven himself at international level. The Belgian has boxed for the European Championships in the past. He has also been in the ring with well-known names in the sport such as Tony Yoka and Mateusz Masternak.
The change of opponent does not mean an easier task for Milas – on the contrary: the fight promises to be even more explosive. The Croatian, who recently caused a stir with a spectacular knockout victory over Granit Shala, also wants to underline his ambitions in Ingolstadt.
