On the night of September 12–13, two top bouts—Garcia vs. Benn and Opetaia vs. Mikaelian—are on the card at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (USA). BOXSPORT tells you who’s broadcasting the fights live and when!
Ryan Garcia (25-2, 20 KOs) will defend his WBC welterweight world title in the ring on Saturday, September 12, 2026. “King Ry” will face England’s Conor Benn (25-1, 14 KOs) at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (USA). Also stepping into the ring there will be two world-class cruiserweights, Jai Opetaia and Noel Mikaelian. Boxing fans in Germany can stream the entire event, produced by Zuffa Boxing, live with a Paramount+ subscription.
Opetaia vs. Mikaelian as the co-main event
“This is a great fight,” said Dana White, CEO of Zuffa Boxing. “Conor Benn has won 26 of his 27 professional fights and is coming off a big win in the U.K. earlier this year.” Benn had won by unanimous decision against American Regis Prograis. Speaking about Ryan Garcia, White said, “He’s one of boxing’s biggest stars and a world champion.”
The Californian captured the WBC world title in February when he dethroned Mario Barrios as champion. “Both boxers are at the peak of their careers,” said the CEO of Zuffa Boxing.
From a German perspective, the cruiserweight co-main event also promises plenty of excitement. Noel Mikaelian (28-3, 12 KOs), the reigning WBC champion, will face top Australian fighter and former IBF world champion Jai Opetaia (30-0, 23 KOs). The German boxer, who has Armenian roots, has been living and training in the U.S. for many years and is now facing the biggest challenge of his professional career. Opetaia is listed as champion by “The Ring” and is considered a technically skilled, agile southpaw with tremendous punching power.
Paramount+ will stream the event on Saturday (September 12) starting at 1:00 p.m. local time in the U.S. In Germany, the first fighters will enter the ring starting at 1:00 a.m. (September 13).
