The two AGON up-and-coming boxers Malek Semmo (middleweight) and Assan Hansen (super lightweight) impressively took their next steps in the professional ranks on Saturday in Korbach.

Malek Semmo remains unbeaten in his fourth professional fight and impressed above all with his strategic approach. The middleweight boxed in a controlled manner, repeatedly using feints and precise jabs, patiently studying his opponent’s movements and mistakes. The 21-year-old recognized the decisive weak point: the open liver. After preparing the gap several times, he struck consistently and put his opponent out of action.

Confident with show elements

Assan Hansen also delivered a strong performance in the super lightweight. He sent his opponent to the ground early with a powerful headbutt and thus set the course for victory. Hansen then went on to control the action with aplomb. He acted variably, agilely and repeatedly interspersed show elements without losing control. Particularly noticeable: the signature of his coach Franquis Aldama was already clearly recognizable. Technically clean, with good footwork and playful ease, Hansen dominated the fight and ultimately claimed a clear points victory.

Neither of them have much time to catch their breath. The next assignment has already been decided and will be announced soon.
