The NRW state association wins the most medals at the 101st German Elite Championships in Halle/Saale.

North Rhine-Westphalia finished as the most successful state association in the 101. German Elite Championships (men and women), which were held in the SWH Arena in Halle/Saale from November 20 to 23. With a total of 7 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze medals, LV NRW took the top spot in the medal table. They were followed by the state associations from Hesse (3 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze medals) and Bavaria (3 gold, 3 silver and one bronze medal).
In the women’s title fights, half-middleweight Leonie Müller (Hessen) was particularly impressive, defeating Tetiana Petrovych (Bremen) 5:0 in the final. Müller was named best female fighter of the finals. Among the male winners of the 101st Elite DM, Denis Bril (NRW) stood out in particular. In the final, the semi-welterweight from SC Colonia 06, who had only recently won the U22 DM title, defeated the experienced Assan Hansen (Hessen) by 4:1 points.

-48 kg: Suada Ibraimovski (NRW), -52 kg: Georgiana-Diana Podaru (Hessen), -54 kg: Meryem Sarah Binbir (Baden-Württemberg), -57 kg: Canan Tas (Brandenburg), -60 kg: Ayssa Lopez Martinez (Bavaria), -63 kg: Maria Siedaia (Bavaria), -66 kg: Carlotta Schünemann (NRW), -70 kg: Leonie Müller (Hessen), -75 kg: Irina Schönberger (Baden-Württemberg).
German champions in the men’s category:
-51 kg: Miles Okay (Hamburg), -54 kg: Omid Ahmahdisafa (Bavaria), -57 kg: Ali Zamanov (NRW), -60 kg: Razmik Sargsyan (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), -63.5 kg: Denis Bril (NRW), -67 kg: Nick Bier (Lower Saxony), -71 kg: Chukwuka Okah-Ezeokeke (NRW), -75 kg: Mouxime Abdoulay (Hessen), -80 kg: Oliver Ginkel (NRW), -86 kg: Valerij Walter (Baden-Württemberg), -92 kg: Kevin Lebowski (NRW), +92 kg: Nikita Putilov (Brandenburg).
