Derek Chisora and former WBC world champion Deontay Wilder meet in London’s O2 Arena – a top-class heavyweight fight between two veterans that will be broadcast live on DAZN

The heavyweight showdown will be organized as a joint promotion by Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions and the newly founded Misfits Pro, an offshoot of Misfits Boxing that focuses on professional and celebrity fights. The event will be broadcast worldwide via the streaming service DAZN. An undercard has not yet been announced.
Chisora (36-13, 23 knockouts) is in the home stretch of his career and is in strong form ahead of his 50th professional fight. The crowd favorite has recently scored three wins in a row – against Gerald Washington, Joe Joyce and Otto Wallin, all by unanimous decision. Wilder (44-4-1, 43 knockouts), who is also about to make his 50th appearance in the ring, has experienced more difficult times of late. The 40-year-old American has lost four of his last six fights after previously holding the WBC title with eleven successful title defenses.
The two heavyweights recently fueled the rumor mill themselves when a video surfaced on social media showing Chisora and Wilder on a video call discussing a signed fight. For Chisora, the fight is likely to be the last of his career. The 42-year-old can look back on a long and competitive career in which he has fought Vitali Klitschko, Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury three times, among others.
