As AGON manager Horst-Peter Strickrodt confirmed, the world championship fight between AGONaut William Scull (22-0, 9 knockouts) and Vladimir Shishkin (16-0, 10 knockouts) will not take place in Cuba or the USA. “We are once again organizing in Berlin-Falkensee, in cooperation with KUC. Scull vs. Shishkin will therefore be the main fight on October 19,” explained Strickrodt.

AGON Sports last hosted a boxing night at the Stadthalle Falkensee in April. Back then, Jack Culcay took to the ropes for an IBF World Championship fight against Bakhram Murtazaliev, but lost the fight after a knockout in round eleven. William Scull wants to do better in October and, after Vincenzo Gualtieri, become the second world champion in one of the big four world federations from the AGON stable within a short space of time.
