Ardian Krasniqi remains unbeaten: Twelfth win, twelfth knockout in his home fight in the Scharrena in Stuttgart.

Ardian Krasniqi put another exclamation mark on his still young professional career at a high-class boxing night as part of Showdown for Legacy III in the Stuttgart Scharrena. The German-Kosovar light heavyweight defended his WBO Intercontinental title impressively against Gaspar Fernandez on Saturday evening and remained unbeaten in his twelfth fight – again by knockout.
Krasniqi (12-0, 12 knockouts) took control of the ring from the first bell. He dictated the pace with clean combinations, a strong jab and excellent ring vision and put the Argentinian under constant pressure. Fernandez (7-3, 7 knockouts) proved to be a fighter’s heart, but had little chance against the precision and physicality of the champion.
In the fifth round, the time had finally come: an explosive sequence of punches from Krasniqi sent Fernandez to the floor. The referee didn’t count for long and stopped the fight – a knockout victory for the defending champion. The 2,500 spectators in the sold-out Scharrena celebrated their local hero frenetically.
With this success, Krasniqi not only consolidated his unblemished record, but also improved his international positioning in the light heavyweight division and moved closer to a possible world championship fight. After the fight, the champion was proud of his team and grateful for the vociferous support of the Stuttgart crowd.
There was also reason to celebrate on the undercard: welterweight Eugeniusz Makarczuk (13-0, 6 knockouts) impressed with a third-round knockout against Kastriot Sopa (9-1, 4 knockouts) and also underlined his ambitions.
