The makers of the “Riyadh Season” have produced a spectacular trailer for the upcoming Undisputed Fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol. BOXSPORT shows it to you!
When champions Artur Beterbiev (IBF, WBC, WBO) and Dmitry Bivol (WBA Super) face off on October 12 to fight the undisputed world light heavyweight champion, it will be the fight of the year for many: both are outstanding fighters, both are undefeated, both are hungry for success. Beterbiev (20-0, 20 knockouts) and Bivol (23-0, 12 knockouts) were due to meet on June 1 in the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). However, the planned showdown had to be postponed due to an injury to Beterbiev.
Master technician meets machine
“It’s undoubtedly the best fight in boxing,” explained Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn during a recent press conference. Bivol’s promoter, who described his protégé as a “master technician” and top-ranked boxer Beterbiev as a “machine”, is certainly getting the publicity going in advance: “This is a fight that will grab every boxing fan – whether die-hard or casual. Two greats of their generation and the two best light-heavyweights in the world are meeting here.”
The makers of the “Riyadh Season”, led by Saudi boxing impresario Turki Al-Sheikh, have also spared no expense or effort in promoting the mega-fight. The official trainer for Beterbiev vs. Bivol has now been released. The result is a cinematic highlight in the style of “Vikings”, which at almost five minutes has the playing time of an XXL trailer.
