Exceed Boxing brings Queen & King of the Ring to Hamburg: With Serkay Comert, Hamza Salahudin, Alexander Chupil and Khurshid Tojibaev as well as top Olympic boxing

A new boxing series is coming to Germany – and it starts in Hamburg.
Queen & King of the Ring, the new event concept from Exceed Boxing, will celebrate its German debut on May 29 and 30, 2026 in the Active City Arena in the heart of St. Pauli. The event was already sold out at the launch in Utrecht (Netherlands) in 2025 and was celebrated as one of the best boxing evenings in recent years. Now Hamburg is setting a clear signal for 2026: Building an international boxing brand with an unmistakable identity, genuine sporting value and a live experience that also inspires a broad audience.
The format clearly stands out from the classic boxing event – unique in this form worldwide. Over the course of two evenings, a carefully compiled professional fight evening and a top-class Olympic tournament merge into one continuous event. On the professional card, up-and-coming local heroes meet tough international opponents. At the same time, top amateurs will compete in a tournament format: semi-finals on the first evening, finals on the second. The “Queens” and “Kings of the Ring” will be crowned in each weight class – including the opportunity to defend their titles at future events.
The whole thing is rounded off by an elaborate production with live music, a dynamic light show and an open-air arena that brings the fans closer to the action than at most boxing events. The event is being organized in cooperation with the city of Hamburg and the relevant associations for Olympic and professional boxing in Germany.
Fight Card – Night 1 (Friday, May 29)
The main fight will feature unbeaten Turkish super-middleweight Serkay Comert, who is competing in a title fight and wants to present himself on the international stage. Comert is regarded as one of the most promising prospects in his weight class – Hamburg offers him the perfect platform.
Also in the ring: Ihor “The Ukrainian Hulk” Shevadzutskyy. The heavyweight returns after his points defeat to double Olympic champion Bakhodir Jalolov. Despite his massive physique, Shevadzutskyy impresses with surprising agility and technique – a rare combination in the heavyweight division. He wants to deliver a strong comeback in Hamburg.
Fight Card – Night 2 (Saturday, May 30)
Saturday belongs to Hamza Salahudin. The unbeaten German light heavyweight (15-0) and knockout specialist is going for his first professional title – with home advantage behind him and everything at stake.
Alexander Chupil (16-0), an undefeated local hero from Hamburg, brings additional punch to the fight card and continues his path towards a title shot.
Khurshid Tojibaev from Uzbekistan is also a highly decorated lightweight in the ring: world champion, Asian champion and unbeaten as a professional – proof of the top international level of the event.
The Olympic tournament

Leonie Müller, multiple World Boxing Cup winner and runner-up in the European Championships, fights for the women’s half-middleweight crown – a duel with high sporting quality.
Nikita Putilov, multiple World Boxing Cup and European champion, leads the German line-up at super heavyweight.
Maxi Klotzer, Olympic participant and World Boxing Cup winner, will be competing at flyweight and is one of the most experienced German athletes at this level.
Magomed Shagidov, currently ranked number 11 in the world, will compete for the King of the Ring title in the men’s semi-middleweight division – a weight class in which he is one of the most dangerous boxers in Europe.
All four will face top international opponents from the world elite of Olympic boxing – including world and European champions and Olympic medal winners. The tournament format is uncompromising: every fight counts, the winners of the semi-finals go through to the final, and the Queens and Kings of the Ring are crowned at the end – including prize money.
Further participants in the Olympic tournament will be announced in the coming days.
