Reigning WBC and WBO World Super Welterweight Champion Sebastian Fundora defended his titles with a dominant fourth round T.K.O. victory over Chordale Booker in the main event at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas (USA).

With an impressive record of 22 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw (14 knockouts), Fundora needed less than four rounds to defeat his challenger Booker (23-2, 11 knockouts). His considerable reach and size advantage played a decisive role in the fight.

With less than a minute left in the fourth round, Fundora landed a cracking overhand left followed by a left uppercut. Booker was visibly battered as Fundora landed another overhand left and a double left uppercut that sent Booker to the floor. The challenger got back to his feet, but Fundora immediately followed up with a series of hard left hands. Referee Thomas Taylor had seen enough and stopped the fight nine seconds before the end of the round.

After the fight, the champion was confident: “I worked hard all last year to be ready. Now I’ve successfully defended both my titles and there’s no limit to what I can achieve. I’ve shown the fans that I’m a power fighter – I always have been, but tonight I made it even clearer.”

Looking to the future, Fundora has big goals: “I want to become the undisputed champion, just like my sister. Whoever my next opponent is, I’ll be ready. I want the IBF champion Bakhram Murtazaliev, and Xander Zayas is the WBO mandatory challenger. And I also want Errol Spence Jr. We have two titles and we have to defend them. If anyone is ready for the title unification – let’s do it!”
