London gets its next cracker: Conor Benn boxes Regis Prograis at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The fight is part of the Fury comeback fight card.

Conor Benn continues to box in XXL format. After the two fights against Chris Eubank Jr. at the Tottenham Stadium, the Briton’s next appearance at the Tottenham Hotspurs stadium is already scheduled. On April 11, Benn will face Regis Prograis, former world champion in the semi-welterweight division. The fight has been confirmed as part of the Fury-Makhmudov Gala, which will be streamed globally via Netflix.
“The Destroyer” , who recently joined the Zuffa Boxing squad, announced a “statement performance” and emphasized that he doesn’t shy away from anyone on big stages. Prograis, on the other hand, sees the pairing as a “full circle” moment: at an earlier appearance in London, Benn was still on his undercard – this time he wants to close the circle and “teach Benn a lesson”.
In sporting terms, Prograis primarily brings experience and punching power. Most recently, US boxer Joseph Diaz scored points and made it clear that he is specifically looking for big paydays at this stage of his career. Benn is therefore not getting a “nameless” build-up opponent, but a veteran who wants to use the ring while he still gets top spots.
