The IBF has scheduled a world championship eliminator between AGON boxer Etinosa Oliha and Kyrone Davis. The purse bid will take place on February 4.

Etinosa Oliha is facing the next big fight on his way to the world championships. The IBF has ordered the unbeaten middleweight from Italy to fight Kyrone Davis in a title eliminator. The purse bid, i.e. the official auction of the fight event, will take place on February 4.
“I’ve worked hard to get to this point. Now I have the opportunity to qualify for a world title fight,” said the 26-year-old middleweight from the AGON stable. With an unblemished record of 21-0 (9 knockouts), Oliha has proven himself in recent years in both Italy and Germany.
Tough break for “El Chapo”
Davis (19-3-1, 6 knockouts), who caused a stir last year with his victory over Elijah Garcia in Las Vegas, will definitely be a tough challenge for Oliha. Nevertheless, the Italian believes he is well prepared. “Davis has experience and has beaten big names, but I’m hungry and ready to take advantage of this opportunity.”
This leaves Oliha with a potential title fight against Janibek Alimkhanuly, the current IBF and WBO champion, should the fight go ahead and he wins it. While Alimkhanuly is focusing on other names such as Carlos Adames, Oliha remains confident that an opportunity will arise soon. “I believe in myself and my team. I’m sure my moment will come soon.”
