The joint boxing gala of Fides Sports Promotion and Alis Fight Club at Gold’s Gym Berlin ended with a resounding knockout in the main fight. A total of thirteen fights provided an electrifying atmosphere in front of a packed crowd – including strong comebacks, emotional decisions and plenty of action in the ring.

In the main fight of the evening, heavyweight Albon Pervizaj, who now lives in Düsseldorf, demonstrated his punching power. After a controlled start, he hit Ilja Mezencev from Hamburg with a brutal liver hook in round three after several hard hands to the body and head. Knockout after 1:22 minutes! A clear statement from Fides’ heavyweight Pervizaj on his comeback after more than two and a half years out of the ring.

Action, excitement and much more!

But even before that, there was plenty of action in twelve other fights in the supporting program: In the first fight of the evening, Gramos Ibishi and Lukasz Szczepaniak fought a hard-fought duel, which the judges awarded a draw (38-38, 38-39, 39-37). Both boxers produced good scenes, Ibishi from a distance and Szczepaniak in the infight.

Rodi Kasem celebrated his comeback after 15 months with a TKO victory. His opponent Samir Hajiyev injured his shoulder and was unable to compete in the third round. Arman Khudoyan secured a well-deserved points victory against Kevin Masirika. The young heavyweight dominated the fight throughout the rounds and impressed with targeted strikes to the body and head. Armenak Hovhannisyan clearly prevailed against Frank Rojas. With scores of 59-55, 60-54 and 60-54, he recorded a solid stay-busy victory. Younes Zarraa showed strong form and clearly dominated Seiran Engel over six rounds. With three times 60-54, the points victory was never in danger.

Short process

Emilio Antonio Alvarez stopped Richard Vaczi in round four. After strong action and an impact punch to the liver, the fight was consequently stopped. Amsal Mujovic made short work of Mike Hadley. The Brit’s corner ended the fight in round one after two knockdowns.

Chamseddine Lemjid won his first eight-rounder confidently on points against Serhii Ksendzov (80-72, 80-72, 79-73). Despite a few counterattacks by the Ukrainian, Lemjid clearly dominated proceedings. Miridon Mulolli defeated Bazargur Jugder, who stepped in at short notice, unanimously on points (3× 60-54). The Kosovar from Suhl showed a well-considered performance against the tough Mongolian. Kastriot Sopa also returned to the ring after a long break due to injury. The Fides boxer managed an early victory against Adrian Orban and now bigger tasks await him.

After a break of almost three years, Elvis Hetemi made an impressive return and stopped Andrei Hramyka in round two. He forced the referee to stop the fight with explosive combinations. In the final undercard fight, heavyweight Petar Milas won by KO in round one against Eugen Buchmüller after a dominant performance.
