Arslanbek Makhmudov announces a “war in the ring”: He wants to prove his strength against Dave Allen and get back to the top.

Russian-Canadian heavyweight puncher Arslanbek Makhmudov (20-2, 19 knockouts) faces his next big test: On Saturday, the 36-year-old will face local hero Dave Allen (22-6-2, 15 knockouts) at the Sheffield Arena. The duel between the two crowd favorites will be broadcast live on DAZN (from 8 p.m. German time).
Makhmudov, who after two defeats – including against Agit Kabayel – recently impressed again with a spectacular knockout over Ricardo Browne, promises an uncompromising performance: “I respect Allen because he’s not afraid. But it will be different in the ring! That’s where he’ll see the lion,” “The Lion” told The Ring.
Allen had decided on the duel himself after several opponents were suggested to him. Makhmudov believes that the Briton wants to exploit his weaknesses from his last fights – but warns: “I am stronger and more experienced than ever before. For me, this is war – kill or be killed.” His promoter Camille Estephan (Eye of The Tiger Management) is also expecting a spectacle: “Two fighters who will give everything. This will be a fight for the fans. Arslanbek had the best camp of his career. It’s going to be intense.”
