“Most Valuable Promotions” is hosting the light middleweight world title unification bout between Mikaela Mayer and Chantelle Cameron on August 29 in Birmingham.

Jake Paul’s “Most Valuable Promotions” (MVP) is sending two truly exceptional female boxers into the ring: Mikaela Mayer and Chantelle Cameron. The two rivals will face off at the “MVPW-06 UK vs. USA” boxing event on August 29 in Birmingham, England. In this welterweight unification bout, the WBA and WBC titles (both held by Mayer) as well as the WBO title (held by Cameron) are on the line.
The Battle for the Legacy
American Mayer (22-2, 5 KOs) is at the peak of her career and is stepping onto British soil with the firm intention of building on her legacy. “Chantelle Cameron has always been a name I wanted to add to my legacy,” says the 35-year-old from Colorado Springs. “And a fight that I believe boxing deserves.” Mayer has no doubt that it “will be one of the most exciting fights of our generation.”
Also 35 years old, Chantelle Cameron (22-1, 8 KOs) belongs to the same generation as Mayer. In addition, “Il Capo” is one of the most successful and respected female boxers in the UK in recent years. In April, she claimed the vacant WBO super welterweight title with a unanimous decision victory over Michaela Kotaskova. In 2023, Cameron even became the undisputed super welterweight champion when she traveled to Dublin as the underdog and defeated boxing legend Katie Taylor.
