Six world championship fights, 17 belts, an evening for the ages: “Women’s Night” in New York broke all previous benchmarks in women’s boxing.

Next Friday, July 11, Madison Square Garden will be all about the women! Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano III is not only one of the most important trilogy fights in modern boxing, but also a historic evening of boxing in which a total of 17 world championship belts from the major federations will be awarded. The mega-event is organized by Jake Paul’s “Most Valuable Promotions” and will be broadcast worldwide on Netflix.
The main fight of the evening will be for all four major world titles (WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO) as well as the Ring Magazine Belt in the light-welterweight division. Katie Taylor, the Irish boxing icon, currently leads 2:0 in the direct duels, but both fights were closely contested – the second fight in particular ended highly controversially. Amanda Serrano, the Puerto Rican knockout queen, vowed at the last press conference: “This time you will see who the real champion is.”
But the supporting program of the “Women’s Night” also has it all! Never before have there been so many world champions in one night. Ellie Scotney, Alycia Baumgardner, Savannah Marshall, Chantelle Cameron and Cherneka Johnson are among the most prominent names on the undercard.
